  • Design and facilitate simulation-based learning (e.g., prescription writing, managing adverse drug reactions, and medication safety scenarios), providing structured debriefing and alignment with learning outcomes.
  • Guide students during ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and bedside teaching, emphasizing rational prescribing, polypharmacy management, drug interactions, and safe transitions of care.
  • Teach and assess prescribing skills using national and international frameworks and embedding prescribing competency across the curriculum.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate assessments such as prescribing exams, OSCE stations, workplace-based prescribing evaluations, and written tests. Provide constructive feedback to support learners’ prescribing competency development.
  • Act as a professional role model, highlighting best practices in patient-centered care, professionalism, and medication safety.

Clinical and Academic Integration:

  • Connect basic sciences concepts in pharmacology to clinical practice to support integrated medical education.
  • Collaborate with other faculty to ensure clinical teaching content is well-aligned within the MD curriculum.
  • Maintain professionalism and ethical standards in all teaching activities.

Research and Scholarship:

  • Conduct research in pharmacology/medical education/clinical sciences.
  • Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at academic conferences.
  • Seek opportunities for research collaboration and funding to support scholarly work.

Service and Leadership:
