THE OPPORTUNITY & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Teaching Assistant (TA) position is intended for a junior academic / fresh graduate who will support the lead faculty in teaching activities and other academic-related responsibilities within the College of Arts & Sciences. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the preparation of teaching materials and classroom activities

• Searching for multimedia materials and academic references related to course topics

• Teaching small classes under the guidance and supervision of the lead faculty

• Holding office hours and responding to student inquiries

• Assisting with grading, assignments, and student projects

• Supporting student teams, projects, and fieldwork in large classes

• Supporting communication between course faculty and VinUniversity’s administrative offices

• Performing other tasks as assigned by the line manager

The total working hours are equivalent to 44 hours per week.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Multimedia Communication, Media Production, Film/Television, Digital Media, or a related discipline.

• Good oral and written communication skills in English

• Responsible, well-organized, and willing to learn

• Strong interest in teaching and supporting student learning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in producing multimedia content (social, mobile-first, or long-form formats)

• Basic knowledge of motion graphics, sound design, VFX, or prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD)

• Basic understanding of Design Thinking and UX principles
