ABOUT US

The 3D Technology in Medicine Center at VinUniversity is pioneering the development and translation of medical 3D technologies into clinical practice in Vietnam in close collaboration with Vinmec Healthcare System. Through interdisciplinary partnerships with doctors, engineers, researchers, industry, and government, we develop innovative healthcare solutions, conduct high-impact translational research, and advance nationally strategic medical technologies.

Key Responsibilities

The Research Assistant will collaborate closely with internal departments, hospital partners, industry collaborators, and multidisciplinary research teams to support the Center's operational, research, and commercial activities. This position will work on campus with the tasks is listed below:

• Financial Planning & Business Operations
  − Develop annual center and project budgets, financial forecasts, pricing models, and monitor business performance.
  − Prepare financial reports and work closely with Finance and leadership on operational planning.
• Procurement & Commercial Operations: Manage procurement, vendor and contract administration, and commercial operations, including PR/PO processes, product sales, invoicing, and revenue tracking.
• Quality & Regulatory Management
  − Coordinate implementation and maintenance of ISO management systems (ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  − Support documentation, audits, SOP development, and regulatory compliance.
• Research & Project Assistant
  − Support MOU signing, IRB applications, grant proposals, research administration, and manuscript preparation.
  − Coordinate multidisciplinary projects and provide operational support across Center activities.
• Administration & Clinical Coordination
  − Coordinate administrative documentation, operational reporting, and project tracking.
  − Manage patient case logistics, clinical coordination, and medical 3D case databases.
• Other Responsibilities
  − Contribute to strategic initiatives, technology commercialization, and continuous operational improvement.
  − Perform other duties as assigned by the Center Director.

SELECTION CRITERIA

• Be a graduate with a background in health sciences. 
• Be proactive, detail-oriented, and highly responsible.
• Have outstanding organizational skills with an ability to plan & prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good computer skills, with preference given to candidates with experience in SAP software, quantitative research, clinical research, and research/project management tools.
• Good English skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cultural sensitivity and experience working in diverse and international environments.
