As part of VinUni’s vision, the Employer Branding Specialist plays a key role in positioning VinUni as an employer of choice for academic and professional talent worldwide. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, this role focuses on building and promoting a strong employer brand, telling compelling people and culture stories, and supporting talent attraction initiatives aligned with VinUni’s global ambitions. 

The Employer Branding Specialist will work closely with Recruitment, Marketing, and Communications teams to deliver consistent, engaging employer branding activities and ensure a positive, candidate-focused experience throughout the recruitment journey. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Employer Branding Strategy 

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of employer branding strategies aligned with the University’s people and talent strategies. 
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to articulate and promote the University’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP). 
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify trends, best practices, and competitor positioning in employer branding within the higher education sector. 

Content & Communication 

  • Develop and coordinate employer branding content, including job advertisements, career stories, faculty and staff testimonials, social media posts, and recruitment marketing materials. 
  • Ensure consistent employer brand messaging across recruitment platforms, career sites, social media channels, and internal communication platforms. 
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications teams to align employer branding initiatives with the University’s corporate brand guidelines and communication strategies. 

 Talent Attraction & Engagement 

  • Support talent attraction initiatives, including academic conferences, recruitment fairs, campus hiring, and networking events. 
  • Engage with academic and professional talent communities, including alumni networks and research communities, to build long-term talent pipelines. 
  • Contribute to the design and execution of recruitment marketing campaigns for key talent segments 

Employer Branding Channels & Performance 

  • Maintain and continuously enhance the University’s careers page and other recruitment platforms. 
  • Monitor employer branding KPIs (e.g., career site traffic, candidate engagement, application conversion rates) and prepare periodic reports. 
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve employer branding effectiveness and talent attraction outcomes. 

Other tasks assigned by the manager, assist with related HR matters, VinUni culture events, HR projects and initiatives. 

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA 

  • Bachelor‘s degree in marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or related field. 
  • 05 years of experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, communications, or a similar role (experience in higher education is a strong plus). 
  • Excellent English proficiency, equivalent to IELTS 7.5 or above, with strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • An appreciative understanding of the challenges inherent in operating a new university, combined with creativity, resilience, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to effectively address challenges and create opportunities that advance the mission and vision of the college/university. 
  • Familiarity with social media and digital content creation.
