POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Revenue and Receivables
- Review contracts and evaluate related issues such as payment terms, tax rates…
- Issue invoices accurately, ensuring completeness and timeliness in accordance with applicable regulations
- Allocate and record revenue in accordance with revenue recognition principles
- Reconcile revenue with actual receipts to ensure accuracy.
- Process refunds/deposits (if any) for clients/students.
- Manage accounts receivable collections, both internal and external
- Update and monitor customer master data and the ageing report in a timely manner.
- Prepare detail revenue and account receivable report for management purpose
2. Tax
- Review and reconcile accounting documents, invoices, and input/output VAT.
- Prepare and file all statutory tax declarations (VAT, PIT, FCT, CIT) in compliance with regulations
- Provide tax planning and propose tax-saving solutions.
- Coordinate with tax authorities during inspections and finalization processes, providing required data and explanations.
- Provide guidance and support on tax-related matters to internal departments.
3. General tasks
- Record accurate and timely accounting entries in the SAP accounting system, ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards.
- Monitor and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly data within the SAP system.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements regarding document retention.
- Provide accurate information and supporting documentation related to the assigned scope to internal departments, auditors, and regulatory authorities when requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Accountant and CFO.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Banking or related field.
- 03 years of working experience in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related fields.
- Ability to use accounting software such as SAP and equivalent ERP systems.
- Profound knowledge in data entry, financial management and, and audit procedures is an advantage
- Fair written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
