OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly driven Project Manager to lead the execution of strategic transformation initiatives across the University.

This role is responsible for delivering cross-functional projects that accelerate our transition toward a Digital-first and AI-first university, improving operational excellence, academic innovation, and institutional impact.

You will work closely with senior leadership, academic units, and administrative departments to ensure transformation initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable outcomes.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Project Leadership & Delivery

• Develop and manage detailed project plans (scope, milestones, KPIs, risks).
• Lead cross-functional implementation across IT, Colleges, Research, HR, Admissions, Finance, and Student Services.
• Ensure timely delivery of digital systems, AI pilots, and process redesign initiatives.

2. Digital & AI Implementation

• Oversee deployment of AI-enabled tools (e.g., workflow automation, analytics dashboards, AI assistants).
• Ensure solutions align with institutional strategy and governance policies.
• Monitor adoption and impact metrics.

3. Benchmarking & Best Practices

• Conduct benchmarking of leading Digital/AI-first universities.
• Apply recognized higher education digital maturity frameworks (e.g., Jisc, EDUCAUSE).
• Translate best practices into actionable roadmaps.

4. Change & Stakeholder Management

• Manage stakeholder engagement and alignment.
• Identify risks and mitigation plans.
• Support communication and adoption strategies.

5. Reporting & Governance

• Prepare progress reports for Steering Committee and senior leadership.
• Track KPIs and transformation impact metrics.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and AI ethics guidelines.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience (digital transformation preferred).
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of AI applications in education or enterprise environments is an advantage.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
