ABOUT THE POSITION
The Laboratory Coordinator will report to Vice Dean of College of Engineering and Computer Science and will be responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of teaching and research laboratories. The role focuses on enabling high-quality teaching, computer-based examinations, student projects, and research activities through effective laboratory operations, asset management, technical coordination, and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with faculty, Campus Service & Development teams, and technology partners, the position contributes to a safe, reliable, and innovative laboratory environment that supports CECS’s academic and research mission and VinUniversity’s Vision 2030.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
1. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable technical university in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- A Master’s degree in an engineering discipline is an advantage.
2. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Able to balance technical troubleshooting with administrative coordination; detail-oriented, responsive, and committed to safe, high-quality service.
- Hands-on experience with programming, operating systems, and common IT/lab software environments.
- Knowledge of GPU cluster/compute infrastructure operations (e.g., Linux administration, job scheduling, user access, monitoring, and basic performance troubleshooting) is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
