POSITION SUMMARY 

The Director of the Center for Education Quality Management is a strategic academic leader responsible for designing and driving VinUni’s institution-wide education quality architecture. 

This role oversees accreditation strategy, internal quality assurance systems, faculty teaching excellence frameworks, academic program portfolio governance, and global ranking positioning. The Director ensures that VinUni’s educational philosophy, academic standards, and innovation initiatives align with international best practices and support the University’s Vision 2030 aspirations. 

The Director works closely with academic leadership, faculty members, and administrative units to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, pedagogical innovation, and student-centered excellence. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Institutional Education Quality Architecture

• Design and continuously enhance VinUni’s comprehensive education quality assurance system aligned with international standards. 

• Lead institutional and program accreditation processes, ensuring strategic positioning and compliance. 

• Oversee internal quality assurance frameworks, including learning outcomes assessment, academic review cycles, and data-driven improvement mechanisms. 

• Manage institution-wide survey systems (student, alumni, employer, faculty feedback) and translate insights into strategic action. 

• Strengthen teaching and learning support systems to enhance student success and academic experience. 

Faculty Excellence & Pedagogical Innovation

• Lead the articulation and evolution of VinUni’s institutional educational philosophy aligned with global best practices. 

• Develop and implement a comprehensive framework for teaching excellence, including clear standards, evaluation mechanisms, and recognition pathways. 

• Design and oversee faculty and teaching assistant development programs focused on pedagogy, assessment innovation, digital learning, and interdisciplinary teaching. 

• Champion institution-wide pedagogical innovation initiatives, fostering experimentation, active learning models, and emerging educational technologies. 

Academic Program Governance & Development

• Oversee strategic management of VinUni’s academic program portfolio, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and market relevance. 

• Lead the development, review, and approval processes for new academic programs, including interdisciplinary and inter-college initiatives. 

• Coordinate talent development programs that strengthen VinUni’s academic competitiveness and global positioning. 

• Ensure academic standards, curriculum coherence, and outcome-based education principles are consistently applied. 

Rankings & Global Benchmarking

• Lead the strategy and coordination of academic program rankings and education-related performance indicators. 

• Conduct benchmarking analyses against top-tier global universities to inform quality enhancement strategies. 

• Provide strategic insights to senior leadership on improving academic reputation and performance metrics. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

• Master’s degree or higher in Education Management, Public Administration from a prestigious institution. 

• Significant experience in higher education leadership, academic quality assurance, accreditation, or curriculum governance. 

• Strong understanding of international accreditation frameworks and global higher education standards. 

• Demonstrated success in leading educational innovation or faculty development initiatives. 

• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate institutional vision into structured quality systems.  

• Data-informed decision-maker with strong analytical capability. 

• Proven ability to work collaboratively across academic units and administrative functions. 

• Commitment to academic excellence, continuous improvement, and student-centered education.
